Hi all, thought i would try a real easel card,

I have never done one of these before but i think i could become addicted

Tilda is coloured with my copics

I used chalk around the edge of the image, and distressed all layers with my little distressing gadget and inks, The stem is a die cut which is chalked, the flower are from WOC, the butterfly is a doohickey and is also chalked with small pearls added on the body, papers are Pion and Bazzil.

I have used Lovey Dovey from Delicious Doodles, I chose this Digi because you can use it for so many occasions, Weddings, Anniversary, Engagement etc

I have endless thin strips of paper and card left over daily, so i thought that I would try some rosettes, I cut cut 4 strips of 8 cm and 4 strips of 6 cm in different colours, folded each end to the centre and glued, then arranged them one on top of each other and glued, and lastly added a button to the centre, I'm quite pleased with the result.

I added some pearls to the digi to add a bit of bling

Actually i luckily had just ordered these heart ones, as i have never used doilies on a card before, but I saw these heart ones used a while back and thought i would get some.

these have a really soft glitter effect with a slight colour too, i'm using them more and more, just a little on my cards

I have used Kenny K Mrs Claus, i enjoyed this card a lot, it started out quite simple and i just got carried away and added layer after layer, all pink glitz and bling!

In the background of my card i have made a beige and blue snowflake digi spray
The base and top of the dressmakers dummy is inked up with papermania inks in brown, sponged on then i used a stipple brush for the grain effect,
I think sponged on some blue brilliance pearl ink onto the dress and flower, layering the different colours and finishing off again with the stipple brush. In a brilliance blue i added my text stamp from PSX, ( i love text stamps)

For the snowflakes i used die cut chipboard and used black and white embossing enamel, then sprinkled with glamour dust for a real sparkly look,
the necklace is small black pearls from ebay.
The ribbon is from doodle bug creations

I loved the look of this card so much i went on to do a Birthday green one, I will share with you later in the week

This was a real challenge for me, as we had to make something pop out mmmmm

Well i had a go at making my haunted witches house inside my card pop out, took a bit of thinking, and i made a little pop up thingy my self out of card, see what you think

I think there is something wrong with my glitter glue, as once it's dry it flakes off ??

Hi all

I haven't put one of my digi cards on here for a while so thought i would share one with you this afternoon

I love the way this card has come out, i had to recolour the design as my original is in blue and the order was for pink,

The ribbon is from ebay, the dress and veil is embellished with lots of the tiniest 1mm pearls, also from ebay, the bouquet is a punched flower, with a mulberry flower on top,

the button hole is a tiny gem flower.

They are on a cd, the paper are in 12 x 12 format at 300dpi so very high quality, they are in jpeg files and be resized easily, but i have done something a little different, also on the cd is 4 blank textured papers, and a set of 12 elements so that you can customise or design your own. I have coloured my image with copics and used a distressing technique, colouring with the W greys,

I have distressed my bird and cage die cuts with my distress ink and some background stanps.

The papers are distressed by fluffing up the edges with my distress tool, then sponging with my distress ink and copics.

Santa Tag / Card Topper

Taking some time out from my DT's today, brain out Santa Tag

Santa and the Tag is cut using my trusty old red sizzix, this is by far the most used machine i have, I run the Tag through the printer first and printed a Naughty and Nice List,

I then distressed all the edges with my earth tone chalks, chalked up santas' face and some of the edges, the beard and bobble are cut from glitter card, not very healthy card to use on your sizzix but it looks great :)

I might nip off and make another one

My card has been Created using Tilda in Autumn by Magnolia

I have coloured my Tilda with lovely autumn coloured copics, i have used the spell binders die oval to cut her out and the mat around the image,

The leaves are from a sticker sheet i found in my stash, the card stock is a mixture including bazzil card,

the tag is cut using a doohickey die, then stamped and coloured with copics,

the little broom i picked up from the NEC craft show,

All papers are sticthed

A very sunny morning here in Kent, and a naughty forty card for you

I have used the lovely red paper from the love bug kit

I will use this kit over and over, i love the papers

the tattoo is from the on the wings of love kit

I took it into photoshop and recoloured it to match in with my colour scheme

I added the naughty forty on my mac, the lace is from ebay and the lips were done using my chalks and a stamp i had.

The words on the tag are a peel off sticker ( wow not used peel offs in a long time)

The rose is from wild orchid crafts.

She is going to be 6 on the 27th September, so i have made her invites, (that she proudly took to school this morning), using scrappers Delights kits morning dew, and my photshop cs5.5

My other card is very very different, and this is what i wanted to show you, by using the same papers you can create many things,

Mini Shoes Tag

Hi all, having a bit of a change from my copics today,

This Tag is cut with a sizzix machine, the papers are from Baby Blessings Girl Kit,

I love these papers and all the elements, they are so soft and cute

The Roses are from a craft fair, the leaves a paper shaper punch,

The brad is from personal impressions, and the ribbon from doodlebug designs and ebay.

The working is a rub on, i find i'm using theses more and more, i love they way they look when they go on, especially with multi colour lettering,

I have edged the white card in my shimmer chalks

The little shoes are a template that i have scaled down, they are extremely fiddly to make but well worth it, the miniature bows are from ebay many years ago, would love to find them again in other colours, so if any one knows where i can get them??

A very wet morning to you all,

I am so pleased with this card and how it's turned out, my best work so far i think

Monday morning and back to school :(

Jessica & Louise (16 year old identical twins) have landed themselves jobs in the holidays,

one is Bromley at Ash and one is t Ash in Covent Garden ! how good is that !

Poppie (5) is going into year one today, my baby !!!

Anyway on with the card, or should i say book today,

This has a story with it, you know when you have something in your head and then you have worked on it for 4 days, you adjust it , perfect it, etc etc

once your pleased with the result, you show the husband and he say's

"yeah, what is it? i really don't get it!'

The papers and the digi's are from scrappers delight baby blessings kit
I love Janice's papers they are fantastic and the little fairies soooo cute,
the bumble bee on page one is a set i have had for ages, from paper bliss,
the ribbons i got from range,
the flowers on page one are from WOC the other flowers are made from craftwork cards they are made of pearl card chalked and shaped, then i added a pearl in the centre,

The lace is from ebay also the charm, the tag is cut with my sizzix, and all the letters are cut with my cricut expressions, that was not an easy job i might add, had to remember to flip the letters for the page reverse, and adjust the depth of the blade for the paper and card !

The little cot is from Janice's kit

The words, fairy and stars are also in the kit, along with so much more,

The tags are cut with my decorative guillotine, the printed one is from nitwit collections.

The moon is a button from hobbycraft, i added some tiny gems to it,

So there it is, it was much more a mammoth project than i first thought,

Hi trying something new today, inspired by Suzanne J Dean, who is hosting a challenge over at Gina K Designs It is use some colours of the rainbow!

I must admit i do not usually colour with bright copics, but i thought i would give it a go, so here it is

Little strawberry Hanglar i love the strawberry, really pleased with how it came out,

I have cut it out with my nestabilities and added a scalloped frame with small pastel pearls, The flowers today are foam, i have not had these before but thought i would give them a try, i like the look but they didn't behave very well when glueing.

The charm is one i picked up at a show in the past, a lovely flower and lady bird,

the butterfly is from range,

The papers are from my stash, one is doodlebug design the other has no name on it,

Hi all a quick listing tonight, using my digi skills

Really getting to grips with my new cs5 loving it

I have used one of Janice kits again from scrappers delights, im becoming quite a regular, over on her blog and mine lately, so much creating,

If anyone wants some Photoshop tutorials let me know, im really getting into it, it's soooo easy when you know how,

Hope to have a range of personalised photo cards to show you all soon, let me know what you all think,

I took the colour out of the little bird house and put some of it back in, so it looks like our little fairy is painting up their home, i found a lovely white splat graphic in the kit, so i changed the colour to red for paint splats, i even managed to change the paint pot colour and add some red to the end of the brush,

Any way once printed off i mounted up and added some bling with red and clear gems,

Butterfly Dreams

Hi everyone, been camping this week with my 5 year old my two friends and their children, it was verrrrryy cold and windy, but otherwise all ok, the children done a massive 6 mile bike ride, considering 3 of them are 5 years old that is quite an achievement, mind you was quite an achievement for me to walk it as well!!

Hi everyone

I want to tell you about someone i met the other night while in search for a digi moon for my witch Tilda i had just finished colouring, i in the end found my moon, but i also found this lady called Janice and her blog and web site

scrappers delight you can get her blogs via her site, her papers and art is wonderful, i'm in love with it, anyway her web has a few glitches at the moment but just take a look and give her time, i'm sure you will all agree the lovely papers for a start would go with our lovely Tildas, Hanglars etc.

So we got chatting and i'm now part of the design team, ye my first one, so chuffed, so here is my first card with one of her digi's

I have coloured santa with copics and given him some lovely rosie cheeks with R20 and R21

The main colours in the red are R24 R25 R27 R29 the Greys in the beard and hair are C0 C1, and the greys in the boots are C3 C5 C7

Diamond Glitter glue is on the cuffs, jacket and hat,

the present bag is from ebay, the presents are just left over pieces of paper with some old peel offs to give a wrapped present look.

I made the Naughty and Nice List with a sizzix die cut and computer printing, the edges are chalked with brown and black, ( i just love my chalks)

some of the papers are craft creations, the others from my stash.

My Hide Away

Hi all

I had a major clear out yesterday and massive tidy up of my hide away craft room, it's a loft conversion.

Everyone in the house forgets where i am so it's great, and when Jessica & Louise (identical girls, 16 year old, twins) are having a row i can shut the hatch and i cant hear them :)

I chose this position for my desk as the light is behind me, it's perfect, (mind you i left the window open in a storm the other evening, bad move soggy paper.

My dad built these doors in under the eaves great storage

My photo shoot area, and my lovely ikea drawers in the background,

behind me while i take this photo is my doll making area but that will be another day, in need of a major tidy up before any photos

Refilling your copic sketch

Afternoon everyone

Just thought i would share for those of you that don't know, how to refill your copics

You can get refills from cultpens.com I also bought the tweezers they sell to remove the chisel shaped nib and i bought some spare brush nibs just incase it all went wrong,

It was great only 2 days to arrive I was refilling a sketch pen, so with the tweezers i took out the chisel nib and tipped in some ink, lesson learned do it much much slower and don't squeeze the bottle !!!!

the ink when spilt does not come off easily and is very sticky!!

i put in about 2cc's of ink, and hey presto my lovely flesh E000 is working again.

This site copicmarker.com has loads of tips and instructions on refilling,

For the Ciao pens you can buy a booster, with i presume is a needle, instead of taking the nib out you put the needle down by the side of the nib and refill that way, you can also use the booster with the sketch, but by taking out the nib.

You can also refill both by adding drips to the chisel nib one at a time, but i liked the way i did it and it was successful.

Hi sunday evening wow another week flown by

A little cute hanglar stanglar tonight been busy with this one, as soon as i saw a brown, blue, cream challenge for hanglar i knew what papers i wanted to use, i bought these a few weeks ago, nitwits whats the buzz the challenges i have entered are anything goes at paper take weekly

more than 3 layers at stamp with sarah kay and lastly simon says where the topic is stitching

I have used paper glaze on the magnifier and glass jar to give a great glossy effect

the little bug boy is coloured with copics

I enlarged one of the buttons in the paper range, cut some slits and threaded some buggy ribbon through for a giant button tag

the other tags are sizzix dies

I have distressed the papers and added glitter glue around the edges, also some fake stitching

Lilac and cream

Morning everyone, well my three followers :)

A customer order this morning for my friend Rita's Mum

Developed some new styles to my cards this year, firstly the size, got bigger with 8 x 8 cards, i'm normally a 6 x 6 person but can't get the card boxes any where and i'm really not into making them like others.

Secondly a bit of computer graphics combined with other bits and bobs,

This is a printed scroll, embellished with wild orchid lilac and cream roses and a few gems, the ribbon is sheer and satin from my stash, which i must say is running very low.

I have printed a verse inside the card, i use cs5.5 for all my card projects.

The tags i made from some left over bits and pieces and embellished with flat pearls.

Papers are from my stock and delightful-doodles.com a great paper and clipart source

The punched edges are softly coloured with pale blue stamping ink

Pink and Cream Baby Book

Hi everyone, yes i know it's been ages, had my fingers in quite a few new projects lately, hope to get this blog back up and running now.

This is an 8 x 8 inch book / box card, i must say inspired from one i saw on Rachel Jakes ebay listing a while back, ive only just got round to making one myself

Some of the papers are from stock and some, including images are from nitwit collections

I must say it's getting quite addictive all these digi papers and images.

i am entering this card in the pink and cream challange at the ribbon girls blogspot.

The embellishments are various buttons, trims and bows from my craft stash.

Once closed the card looks like a book, to reveal once opened a really lovely storage space for your gift, a real keepsake item.

I shaded the punched edge with pastel chalks.

A Baby Card for you today

Found this great star download so put it to good use today

printed it onto the card and embellished with pearl and gem stars

The stars and moon are from paper bliss, had hundreds of these different shapes last year

thought i would have a major clear out and use some old items up

The wording is printed directly onto the card

Triplets today

These little bundles are a custom order for a lady who wants triplets, two girls and a boy, so here they are ready for there new mummy

this is my other pastime painting reborns

Each baby has been painted with genesis heat set paint, they have around 15 layers of paint each from skim tones to tiny veins, and nail beds

Two of them have belly plates too, these wrap around the tummy and attach with ribbon at the back, very realistic

You can see the detail in this one eyelid veins and tiny milk spots, hope you enjoy taking some time out from cards and taking a quick look

Hi everyone, not a nice Sunday afternoon

Digital printing and a little of me this afternoon on this lovely princess birthday card

Found some wonderful grossgrain princess ribbon on ebay, love the tiara and wand design really pretty.

I have printed my greeting on my mac and added my bit of bling crystals to the tiara and wording.

The little outfit has really small and pretty crystal flowers, a card for a true little princess.

It is coloured with water colour pencils and embellished with wild orchid roses

The tag is a doo hickey i have distressed all the edges of the papers and tag with my little gadget and distress inks.

A Little back dress

Something a little different today,

a cross between a printed card with a little bit of me

Little Black Dress

This is a lovely printed design that I bought a while back, I have embellished it with lots of clear crystals, Cut the 18 with the sizzix and embellished it with a miniature mulberry rose and more crystal gems.

I have cut a little flower with a shape it punch, and put a crystal in the centre.

This is an 8 x 8 card It will be on ebay later this evening

Another lilac and green day

Afternoon every one, thought i'd do a quick entry before the school run, so here goes.

My favourite card this month

I have used a tree stamp form hero arts, in the background and coloured with distress inks and embellished every bit of it, i love this stamp, i have one extra for sale, email me if your interested.

Tilda is coloured with copics i was having another green and lilac moment, these are great colours together.

The greeting is from LOTV distressed with lilac distress ink, i have also distressed the edges of my papers, and coloured them with distress ink.

The flower are from wild orchid crafts and lightly glittered with diamond glitter glue.

Lilac and Green

I am having a lilac and green moment today, love these two colours together i'm entering this card into the stamp-man distress challenge ,

I have distressed the edges of the paper with the Tim Holtz distress tool, i have then sponged around the edge with distress ink and edged with diamond glitter glue.

I have used the nestabilities large circles and deckled edge circles, the tag is a doo hickey die, stamps over with the hero arts flower tree stamp and embellished.

Tilda is coloured and blended with watercolour pencils, and sponged with lilac distress ink. The flower are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Grandma is cut using the cricut expressions and my new Genie machine that i'm still getting used to. This was my first linking and cutting trial, not too bad for the first attempt.

thought i'd show you the so far wedding card

Going to add some blush to the cheeks and arms

then mount onto a single fold square card i think for this one.

Tilda and bridesmaid are coloured with watercolour pencils and atyou copic glitter pens

The flowers are from wild orchid crafts and i have blinged them with diamond sparkle glitter glue.

The papers are magnolia i have distressed the edges and sponged distress inks on them and around the edges of the picture
