I can now announce some more good news this week, I will be teaching at
Yes launched this week, I will be teaching all aspects of card making, and maybe in the future branching out into a little more,
Some background information:
The UK School of Craft was founded by J & C creations to offer classes in all areas of craft to all abilities.
J & C Creations started in 2004 by mother and daughter Denise and Jenny Packham making handmade greetings cards to raise funds for an expedition trip Jenny was embarking on to Mongolia. From there we began exhibiting at local school fêtes and garden shows where our range of products grew to include gifts. As we started attending more shows we increased our product range to include card making supplies, J & C Creations was born. In 2005 we took the plunge and exhibited at our first large hobby craft show at Brighton. What a big learning curve that was!!! J & C Creations began to grow whilst still trying to juggle a full time job and full time education between us.
2005 also saw the launch of our website which like J & C Creations has continued to grow over the years. The next four years saw us travel up and down the country exhibiting at most of the major crafts shows from London, Exeter and Birmingham to Manchester. Then the time came for us to brave the north as we exhibited at our first show in Glasgow. Which was a resounding success and we now exhibit there twice a year.
As J & C Creations grew so did our staff as we were joined by Julie Tidey who you will see on the stand at some of the shows. Julie is one of our main card designers, designing new card samples as our endless stream of new products arrive at our warehouse. She also designs all those exciting card projects for our stamp club and craft club members. I am sure she will admit this is an endless task.
During 2010 we saw another new addition to our design team, Lisa Baker. Lisa will be designing some fantastic projects and ideas for us as well as running workshops and demonstrating at a number of shows throughout the year. Lisa will be bringing you the latest crafting tips and techniques to help develop your crafting projects.
2010 was a fun packed year, with a brand new website, full calendar of shows and a new member to the team. As we move into 2011 you will be seeing Lisa at most of the craft events around the UK as she demonstrates the latest crafting products and techniques to hit the market.
As we look forward to 2013 we will be launching a brand new website J & C Beads with everything you need to create some stunning jewellery designs along with tips, techniques and project sheets. As well as launching a wide range of workshops for people to attend at our warehouse.
So pop over the Brand New Web Site and check out all the new class coming soon,
